VANGUARD GLOBAL HOLDING APPOINTS JOE HAWKE AS GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Joe Hawke is an experienced private equity and M&A professional, with success in capital raising activities, negotiating acquisitions, and developing middle-market companies into enterprise grade platforms for subsequent sale. Joe operates as an advisor to multiple businesses in the aerospace and defense sectors, including Defense Systems Redeployment Group (DSRG) in the area of capital and credit market access; North American Spares (strategic and capital markets); and Fundamental Advisors, a New York-based infrastructure fund (domestic rotary wing consolidation strategy, asset management role). Joe is also experienced with investment and credit agreements, Limited Partnership, Preferred Stock, LLC, Mezzanine Debt & Sr Credit Agreements & related ancillary docs.

Joe’s specialties include the full array of service agreements to address customer fleet requirements and programs involving both green completions and refurbs or maintenance on existing fleets whether of in-production or legacy products.

From 2008-2024, was the founder and chairman of Uniflight Global, an integrated provider of end-to-end helicopter solutions, including Financing (leasing and financing solutions), Fixing (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, as well as Completion and Customizing services), and Flying (fully-outsourced flight services, training, staffing, and program development). Joe began investing in the rotorcraft industry in 2002. Prior to his activities investing and building businesses in the helicopter industry, Joe had experience investing in and lending to businesses in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, retail, publishing and media, and software. Joe began his career in commercial banking after graduating from Haverford College (BA, Philosophy). He holds an MBA (Finance) from Temple University.
