VGRM APPOINTS EUROPE DIRECTOR OF SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS
With over a decade of elite military experience as a Royal Marines Commando, Marcus Gregson brings exceptional leadership, security expertise, and operational capabilities to our team.
Marcus joined the Royal Marines in June 2010, successfully completing 32 weeks of intensive training at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines. Recognized as one of the fittest members of his troop and awarded PT Superior, he earned the coveted green beret before joining 40 Commando Royal Marines in a fire support group.
Throughout his military career, Marcus consistently performed above average, demonstrating impressive professionalism as both a gifted sniper and robust operator. His peers and superiors recognized his significant intellect, dedicated attitude, and instructional capabilities.
As a qualified close protection officer, having completed specialized training with Ronin in South Africa,

Marcus's recent work includes:
Security Consultant for World Central Kitchen (March-April 2024)
Initially serving as part of a 4-man security detail escorting WCK staff in Palestine and the Gaza Strip, Marcus was subsequently tasked with organizing logistics for food aid delivery by sea and land. He successfully coordinated convoy escorts into Gaza City while liaising with the IDF to ensure safe distribution.
Ukraine Operations (2022-2024)
Deployed to Ukraine to provide frontline assistance and guidance, Marcus tested and evaluated various UAV systems against modern electronic warfare environments. He established an extensive network of contacts and continues to facilitate connections between manufacturers and forces requiring cutting-edge equipment.
Worked with foreign nationals to establish a team providing tactical assistance, intelligence, and operational planning support to Battalion Commanders. This evolved into developing Standard Operating Procedures for drone teams through direct field embedding.
Private Security Operations
Oversaw operations domestically and internationally, including establishing and managing UAV security/surveillance patrols for high-net-worth individuals throughout Europe. Marcus's unique blend of elite military training, security expertise, and project management capabilities make him an invaluable addition to our team, particularly for complex operations in challenging environments.
